Greg McHugh is a Scottish actor and writer who is known as the creator, writer and star of the Scottish BAFTA winning Gary: Tank Commander, the first sit com to deal with soldiers serving in Iraq and subsequently Afghanistan.

Greg was cast in the hugely successful Channel 4 show, Fresh Meat, in which he played the loveable geek ‘Howard’, and it had notable critical success, winning a British Comedy Award, a nomination for a Television BAFTA and a TV Award at the 2014 Chortle Awards. Greg’s other TV credits include Channel 4’s Dates, BBC Three’s Bad Education and the recent BBC One News Years Eve hit Two Doors Down. Greg is a very experienced performer across a number of disciplines.

He was a finalist in the So You Think You’re Funny competition and has an extensive background in stand up and live performance as well as numerous TV roles.
