Her radio work includes regular appearances on Radio 4’s The Unbelievable Truth, co-presenter of The Richard Herring Show with Lou Sanders (FUBAR Radio) as well as being a stand-in co-presenter for the Geoff Lloyd Drive Time Show (Absolute Radio).

As a writer, Lou wrote and starred in the short film Elderflower which co-starred Sheila Reid (Benidorm), Tom Rosenthal (Friday Night Dinner) and Mike Wozniak (Man Down). She has also written for 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Mock the Week (BBC2), Stand up for the Week (Channel 4) and Miranda Hart, and was recently awarded funding to write a feature film.

“We have hired Lou several times for our events and she has always been extremely professional and utterly funny. Each time, Lou tailored her material to meet our needs and was attentive to our brief. She has hosted and performed sets for us to fit with our audiences of consultants, doctors and nurses (at the Bloomsbury Theatre, The Arts Theatre and just recently at The Shard), but I believe she could write and perform material for any field of business, anywhere. We would not hesitate to have her back.”

Keith Hunt MBE, ROYAL FREE LONDON NHS TRUST

“Lou Sanders hosted a corporate gig for us in March 2017. This was for around 200 professionals working in the television industry and charity sector, to raise money for Plan UK. As a host we could not have asked for more, Lou was hilarious and remembered everything we asked of her on the night. In the run up to the event and on the night, she went above and beyond for us. The audience left extremely happy and the feedback I received the next day was tremendous – I had dozens of messages complementing her and saying that she made people’s night!”

Director, Practically Perfection

“Lou Sanders performed for us in 2017 for a corporate event of designers and sponsors. She has hosted and delivered sets for numerous tailored comedy nights for a range of clientele. Lou is an exciting and rising comic that comes with a fresh and original approach to stand up, her ability to read the room and keep them attentive to her story telling is a crucial part of what we do. She handles a chaotic crowd with expertise, fun and authority. We have already re-booked her!”
