Mack

Lee Mack is one of the UK’s most recognisable and celebrated comics. His relentless determination to have fun is marvellously infectious, and leaves his audiences exhausted by laughter. His energy, finely crafted one-liners, and quick ad-libs create an elusive star quality. He is also the winner of three British Comedy Awards.

The 9^th series of Lee’s sitcom Not Going Out aired on BBC One in 2018. The show has won the RTS Break-Through Award and the Gold Rose d’Or award for Best Sitcom. With its 10^th series in production, Not Going Out is currently the longest-running sitcom on British television.

Lee is also known as team captain on Would I Lie To You (BBC One) alongside Rob Brydon and David Mitchell. The 13th series will start filming in the spring.

As well as being one of the best-known comedy faces on television, Lee is a brilliant stand-up. In the autumn of 2014, Lee toured with his first live stand-up show in four years, Hit the Road Mack. The tour included ten sold-out performances at the legendary Hammersmith Apollo and was filmed for DVD (released in November of that year).

In 2013, Lee also recorded a new 13 part comedy panel show for Sky called Duck Quack’s Don’t Echo. As host of the show, Lee challenges his 3 celebrity guests to offer up an incredible fact in a bid to prove they have the best. Each fact is then put to the test using elaborate and hilarious methods to establish a winner. The show aired in early 2014 and was followed swiftly by a second series in 2015.

In 2010 Lee toured the country with his twice extended tour, Going Out, continuing Lee’s success with his touring stand up. Lee’s previous sold out solo tour was nominated for Best Live Stand Up Tour at the 2006 British Comedy Awards. This coincided with the release of his first live DVD – Lee Mack Live. His second live DVD, Going Out was released in 2010.

He has also won a BAFTA for his contribution to The Sketch Show (ITV1) and was host of They Think Its All Over (BBC One) and two series of The Lee Mack Show on BBC Radio 2 (nominated for a Sony Award). In 2011, Lee hosted his own prime time Saturday night entertainment show Lee Mack’s All Star Cast on BBC One to great success.

Lee Mack has also frequently appeared on Have I Got News for You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Live at The Apollo, QI, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and The Royal Variety Performance.
