Tom Rosenthal is an award-winning comedian, actor, writer and TV presenter.
Best known as the star of the huge, critically acclaimed BAFTA and Emmy award-winning comedy series Friday Night Dinner (Channel 4), as well as the smash hit BAFTA-nominated ITV comedy, Plebs. Both shows set records for the highest audience and the highest ratings for any comedy on their respective channels. Tom is also known for his roles in Lloyd of the Flies, Broadchurch (ITV), Dad’s Army – The Lost Episodes (Gold), Bridget Jones’ Baby (2016) and Guy Ritchie’s Operation Fortune (2023).
As a standup comedian Tom’s relaxed observational material and sharply written punchlines have received critical acclaim. His stand-up show, Manhood, toured around the UK to rave reviews and received high praise at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Tom returns to the Edinburgh Festival with his new show ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I Am’ in 2025, before embarking on his biggest tour to date around the UK and Ireland in 2026.
