Travis Jay is a stand-up comedian, actor and radio presenter and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year nominee. He has performed at some of the biggest comedy clubs in the country, as well as to audiences internationally from Amsterdam to Dubai.

Travis Jay is a stand-up comedian, actor and radio presenter and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year nominee.

Going from strength to strength, Travis has had a busy few years writing for the revival of the classic hit show Spitting Image (BritBox) with recent TV appearances including Black, British and Funny (Channel 4), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Late Night Mash (Dave), Drunk History (Comedy Central) and The Artists (Channel 4). 2024 also saw Travis write and record his first sitcom, Rum Punch, for BBC Radio 4.

Travis plays teacher Theo, in the second series of Princess Mirror-Belle for CBBC. He appeared in the 2023 series of Deep Fake Neighbour Wars for ITVX and will be appearing as John, a recurring character in SUPACELL in Autumn 2024; a superhero drama for Netflix.

A phenomenal live act, Travis is touring the UK with his latest show Travisty in 2024 which follows on from his 2021/22 show Travis Jay Live, culminating in a sold out Bloomsbury Theatre show which was filmed as a special released in 2022. He has previously played to sold out crowds at the world-famous West End Palladium Theatre and performed alongside Dave Chappelle for Dave Chappelle and Friends directed by Stan Lathan in 2018 which subsequently led to him supporting Chappelle in London as part of his world tour.

Travis made his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2019 with his show Funny, Petty, Cool which achieved widespread critical acclaim and recently supported Britain’s Got Talent golden-buzzer winning comedian Kojo Anim on his UK tour in 2020.

On radio, Travis has featured on BBC R4 and BBC 1Xtra after winning the Jumpoff TV Comedy Competition in 2012, and presented his own regular show The Vibe on The Beat London. He also writes and performs spoken word, starring on BBC Radio 1’s First Words alongside George the Poet.

He is the creator and co-presenter of the popular weekly boxing podcast Undefeated, with fellow comedian KG tha Comedian.
