Presenter | Comedian | Voice of Love Island

BAFTA-winning comedian Iain Stirling is best known as the brilliantly funny voice of the hit reality show Love Island (ITV2), and spin off series Love Island USA (ITVX), which are in their tenth and fifth series respectively. He’s a highly experienced corporate awards host and brings energy to hilarious after-dinner comedy sets.

Buffering, a refreshingly relatable comedy sitcom which Iain created, wrote and starred in ran for two series on ITV2 and, now in its seventh series, Iain continues to host the hilariously silly Iain’s Stirling’s CelebAbility (ITV2). Iain also hosts Partners In Crime, a hit UK true-crime podcast alongside his wife, Laura Whitmore, on Spotify.

Iain has recently appeared on The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan, Celebrity Gogglebox (Channel 4), Richard Osman’s House of Games (BBC Two), Blankety BlankMichael McIntyre’s The Wheel (BBC One), and Rod Gilbert’s Growing Pains (Comedy Central).

This adds to an extensive list of television credits including Taskmaster Series 8, The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice (C4), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky Max), Comedians Watching Football with Friends (Sky One), The Jonathan Ross ShowThe Chase: Celebrity Special (ITV), Pointless CelebritiesSaturday Kitchen and The One Show (BBC One), to name just a few.

An Edinburgh Festival Fringe favourite, Iain has performed six sold-out and critically-acclaimed shows, including U OK Hun? X in 2017 which sold out the entire Edinburgh Fringe run in advance. Following the success of his 2021 nationwide tour, Failing Upwards, which was recorded for his first full length special on Amazon Prime. Iain will be back on the road in 2024 with his brand-new show Relevant.

Iain co-wrote and hosted six series of the comedy panel show The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC) which saw him win 2018’s RTS Scotland’s On Screen Personality and 2017’s Children’s BAFTA Best Presenter Award (2017).

He is also the author of the book Not Ready to Adult Yet which was published through HarperCollins, along with a companion podcast of the same name.
