Garrett Millerick is a phenomenal stand-up comic, writer and director. His unique and versatile style has led to him being in great demand on the alternative and club circuits both in the UK and internationally, and his breakout television performance was on the hit US late-night talk show Conan (TBS)

As well as his appearances in the States, Garrett has performed internationally across Europe, Australia and Asia.

His breakout live show Sunflower became one of the best reviewed and most talked about shows of 2018, both at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and subsequently at London’s Soho Theatre. The show saw packed houses for both runs and added extra shows due to high demand. The show was Time Out London’s No.1 Comedy Pick for February 2019, and secured Garrett a nomination for Breakthrough Act at the 2019 Chortle Awards. Sunflower was recorded as an album and is available to purchase internationally from 800 Pound Gorilla Records.

Garrett’s follow up show Smile surpassed Sunflower, once again selling out its run and adding extra shows. The Times called Smile one of the stand out shows of 2019 and The British Comedy Guide named it one of the best reviewed shows of 2019. Followings its success, Garrett took Smile to London theatres before touring the UK.

His most recent shows, Never Had It So Good (2023) and Just Trying to Help (2022), were two of the best-reviewed shows of their respective years, and resulted in Garrett being nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival with Just Trying to Help. It was described as “a performance of rare force and intensity that overpowers his audience…It’s a travesty that he’s not much better known outside the comedy cognoscenti” (★★★★1/2, Chortle). The show later transferred to the Soho Theatre and subsequently toured across the UK.

As a writer, his debut sitcom Do Gooders, a comedy about mid-level charity workers, was optioned by Hat Trick Productions and was commissioned as part of Audible’s first slate of original programming. It will air on BBC Radio 4 with a cast including Frank Skinner, Ahir Shah and Ania Magliano.
