BAFTA-winning comedian Iain Stirling is best known as the brilliantly funny voice of the hit reality show Love Island (ITV2), and spin off series Love Island USA (ITVX), which are in their twelfth and seventh series respectively. He is also the host of Iain Stirling’s Roast The Internet (Comedy Central) in which he and a panel of guests mock the world’s worst online content.

Iain has  recently been announced as the host of a brand new competitive format, Race Against the Tide (BBC Two) which sees eight talented teams go head-to-head in a high stakes contest, not only competing against each other but also against Mother Nature to produce amazing sand sculptures on a stunning Scottish beach.

He also appeared on series 8 of Taskmaster (C4/Dave), and for seven series hosted ITV2’s comedy entertainment show, CelebAbility.

Iain wrote, created and starred in two series of his own comedy sitcom, Buffering (ITV2) and his first stand-up special Failing Upwards launched on Amazon Prime Video in over 200 countries and territories. His 2024 show, Relevant, was his biggest tour to date extending into 2025 across the UK, Ireland and the US.

Currently Iain hosts Murder They Wrote, a hit UK true-crime podcast alongside his wife, Laura Whitmore, on BBC Sounds. This followed the couple’s previous hit podcast, Partners In Crime (Spotify).

An Edinburgh Festival Fringe favourite, Iain has performed six critically-acclaimed shows, including U OK Hun? X in 2017 which sold out the entire Edinburgh Fringe run in advance.

Iain co-wrote and hosted six series of the comedy panel show The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC) which saw him win 2018’s RTS Scotland’s On Screen Personality and 2017’s Children’s BAFTA Best Presenter Award (2017).

As a football fan he is also a regular commentator on UNICEFs Soccer Aid annual appeal.

Iain is also the author of the book Not Ready to Adult Yet which was published through HarperCollins, along with a companion podcast of the same name.

He’s a highly experienced corporate awards host and brings lots of energy to hilarious after-dinner comedy sets.
