Stand-up comedian Ed Gamble is known as a regular on Mock the Week (BBC2) and for being the co-creator and co-host of the mega-hit podcast Off Menu with James Acaster. The podcast was an instant success, leaping to the top of the charts when released in 2018, amassing over 16 million downloads in just two series. Every weekend, Ed can also be heard co-presenting Radio X’s Sunday morning show with Matt Crosby.

Ed is a star in the corporate events world, having performed at and hosted dozens of corporate awards ceremonies and gala dinners. He has quickly gained himself a reputation for being reliable, professional and easy to work with – as well as performing comedy that appeals to a wide range of audiences.

Ed has made stand-up appearances on Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), The Royal Variety Performance (ITV), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One), and US late-night talk show Conan (TBS). He was crowned champion in the ninth series of Taskmaster (Dave/Channel 4) as well as taking home the trophy in series three of Richard Osman’s House of Games. Other recent television credits include 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Roast Battle (Comedy Central) and Hypothetical (Dave), as well as playing the lead role of Georgie Carlton in BBC America’s Almost Royal.

On stage, Ed’s tour show Blizzard had a twice-extended sell-out UK run and culminated with a final performance at the 1,200-seat O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. In 2019, his first stand-up special, Blood Sugar, was released as an Amazon Prime original special in 200 countries worldwide.
