Emma Doran embarked on her first ever stand up gig while on maternity leave, that evening she won best act of the night and has been gigging non stop since.
Emma has garnered over 350k followers on social media from her comedy sketches. In 2022 her debut nationwide Ireland stand up tour “Mad isn’t it” was a sell out with multiple dates at Vicar Street. In 2024 Emma went on to tour ‘Dilemma’ across Ireland and the UK and she is currently in the middle of her biggest tour to date with ‘Emmaculate’ selling out in both the UK and Ireland, including multiple sold out Vicar Street dates.
Emma co-wrote and starred in the successful sketch show “No Worries if Not” on RTE.

Emma previously co-hosted two podcasts, one with her daughter called You’re Grounded and one with Muireann O’Connell called And Another Thing. She currently co-hosts the podcast Keep It Tight with Deirdre O’Kane.
